About Us

Welcome to Women Human Rights Education & Environment Association (WHEEA) – a beacon of hope, empowerment, and change for the women and girls of Somaliland.

Since our inception in 2003, WHEEA has been at the forefront of fighting for gender equality, environmental preservation, and the empowerment of women and girls. Our mission is to catalyze social transformation and uplift communities, ensuring every woman and girl can live with dignity, equality, and freedom.

Paralegal training workshop

WHEEA have organized 3 day paralegal training for 27 Participant form Mohamed Ali IDP. The training was Funded by SIHA and aimed to improve the basic knowledge on Violence Against the women and reporting system of the women paralegals.

Women economic empowerment

150 women villagers have established small businesses and improved their business management skills through provision of seed money and business management training. In every six months.
